I was traveling in the Philippines this last December (picking up a son finishing his mission) and ran into a Ute! We were in the town of Bagio (only cool place in the Philippines, notice the jackets) walking through the market, when what should we stumble across but this man wearing a Ute hat. Using my son as an interpreter, he told us he found the hat in Manila and thought it looked good with his jacket. Ultimate irony is his name is Steve, my name as well.
Since we are in the slow summer months I thought if would be interesting to see the most exotic places we have run into Utes around the world.
