- Oregon State exposed Utah today, and they pounded the Utes' weaknesses hard--the Beavers were great at getting their guards open for the 3, getting physical in the paint, and exposing the Utes' lack of a true point guard to guide the offense. Barefield finished with 6 assists, but his game is better suited on the wing.
- Bealer, where'd that come from? Gabe had 9 points and at one point hit three straight three pointers before cooling off.
- Kuzma was close to getting his first triple-double, only in the wrong category... he had 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 turnovers.
- Once Collette fouled out, Utah didn't have much rim protection and it opened up the hole for Stevie Thompson to drive to the hole for the game-winning basket. Utah struggled to guard Thompson this year, he scored 61 points in the two games against the Utes including 31 tonight.
