No decision has been made. The family had a long talk last night and Penei still doesn’t have an answer. I’m told that at this point in the game, his nit-picking is getting worse than it already was and that he’s told some close to him that he doesn’t want to let his parents down.
I’m hearing that there isn’t really any extended family pushing towards Oregon. With the Utes and the Ducks being the two perceived finalists, by our sources, his extended family has been pushing Utah and USC.
Hearing that he doesn’t want to let his parents down, gives me pause, but at the 11th hour in the process, he’s still incredibly torn, so I’m not really reading into that. He plans to have a decision some time today. His family just wants him to be happy, but the majority wants Utah.
