In a somewhat unexpected decision, the NCAA just banned satellite camps for FBS football programs. Over the past couple of years, Utah football has held these types of camps in Houston, Dallas and SoCal. In theory, the camps helped expose players to the program, but I never thought they never were a huge driver in terms of landing players.
