Sloppy play and cold shooting cause the Runnin Utes to get their first loss of the season. Timmy Allen started the game off strong for the Utes but the double teams in the second half slowed him down. Coastal Carolina pulled away with hot shooting from the three-point line.
The Runnin Utes didn’t deal well with the physical play of Coastal Carolina. With the physical nature of the PAC-12 this is something that Utah will have to get better and dealing with before conference play.
