Hey all, I've seen some score predictions on other threads so I wanted to make an official thread where you can throw out your score prediction for the game. The other staff will chime in as well but feel free to give your best prediction here and how you think things will play out.
I'm going Utah 31 BYU 10 .
BYU's offense hasn't shown me anything to suggest that they'll be able to put up very many points. The running game isn't good, the receivers struggle against physical DBs, and Mangum hasn't been throwing very accurately. Even if Utah spots them some turnovers, I don't know if the Cougar offense will be able to move the ball effectively on a short field. BYU's defense is good, but I could see a situation somewhat similar to what happened to them last week against LSU playing out this week. The offense's impotence will result in the defense being on the field for a lot of the game and they'll start to get tired, allowing Utah to pull away in the second half.
