I think USC has coveted KW for quite a while. It must drive them nuts to see him come in with "inferior talent" (star wise and in their eyes) and put it to them year after year.
I would hope that he's set enough financially that even more money won't sway him. I'm sure he likes money but he makes quite a bit now and USC comes with more money but unique pressures and challenges. From what I've heard about Whitt, he's not that into "shinny toys." I would also think he's at a stage where he might want to finish at Utah and be our version of LaVell Edwards versus going to Cali and starting something new there.
I do think that if Whitt wanted the USC job that he'd be a top candidate. I think they've shown interest in him before. They need a guy to install some discipline and Whitt has more discipline that just about anyone not named Urban Meyer.
