So far so good. We boat-raced three low majors. Then stepped up a weight class or two and beat BC and Tulsa on a neutral court.

Our defense and rebounding have exceeded expectations. Those are two areas of strength that we should be able to consistently rely on.

Our TO's are still a problem but there has been some improvement. Our A/T ratio is 1.2 which is decent. But we turn the ball over about 4 times per game more than our opponent.

Not a lot of offensive firepower. Our outside shooting hasn't been great outside of DJJ. We need one or two of the following to be reliable outside shooters (Gach, Stefanovich, Madson, Brenchley, Battin). Doesn't have to be the same two every game. But, if any of them start shooting 3's at 40% or better, they will get a lot of minutes.

Branden Carlson has played extremely well so far. Mahorcic will give us solid minutes as well. Looks like Thioune's role will be limited.

Jury is still out imo on Worster as a PG. Solid player who leads the team in minutes and FGA. But, will likely struggle to guard his position and get dribble penetration.

Injury issues are a concern. Madsen's been out. Not sure about an expected return date. Holt is hurt, maybe badly. Marco Anthony, our ace defender swiss-army knife guy rolled his ankle.

Ceiling is probably middle of the conference. Still, I like what I've seen and think CS is off to a strong start.
