Look the reality is, by longing for the Majerus glory years, it can give the look like Utah is stuck around 1998 like BYU was stuck around 1984. Unfortunately that’s how far the program has plummeted. Since Utah joined the Pac-12 in basketball, five teams have yet to make the conference championship game, which Utah made in 2016. Those five are: Oregon State, Washington State, Cal, and Arizona State.
So my question is, what is an acceptable season for Utah basketball? At minimum, it’s my opinion that Utah should be at least equals to Washington and Colorado.
