There are two Big 10 and two SEC teams playing for the national title and 12 of the top 13 in the CFP rankings are in those two conferences with FSU being the exception.
We don’t need a playoff, we don’t even really need a regular season. Just let the committee pick who they think are the best teams (will be all teams from those two conferences) and we’ll be done.
Just care less and less each year.
