I mentioned in the fall camp interview notes that Whittingham said that they will be meeting today to discuss and name their starting quarterback.
I’ve been continuing to hear that Rising has been the most consistent of the group. Bentley is doing good things and especially when he’s on, but that Rising has been consistently more impressive. There’s also the obvious that Rising is a dual threat QB, something Whittingham loves.
Does that mean that Rising will be the guy? It depends on Ludwig, in my eyes. As good as Rising might be looking, Ludwig could really value his three years of SEC starting experience.
