Utah currently has 11 players to fill out a roster that they expect the NCAA to approve 15 scholarship spots, but because of that, they’re cautiously playing things by ear. This doesn’t mean that they’re won’t add anyone in the near future, but that they are starting to be more conscious of the numbers.
There is one overseas player I currently have my eyes on. Plus there is the chance of some movement with some late 2025 HS kids, soon.
A lengthy center isn’t a huge concern. They’ll take one if it makes sense, but in the Big 12, the belief is physicality and athleticism for that position — not necessarily length. Utah would rather have a bunch of physical, athletic, floor-spacing shooters and drivers on the floor.
