First off, you guys are going to love this guy. He’s very humble and respectful. Speaks good English and claims that he learned fast from interactions and not from schooling.
Aside from his dad coming to coach here, it came down to Utah, USC, Ole Miss, and Arizona. He said Utah was his no. 1 from the start and they were also his first offer.
He’s been playing more PG for his AAU team lately and one player he models his game after is Donovan Mitchell.
He mentioned that his dad should arrive in Utah sometime in July, because they’re working on his visa currently.
His family really is a great story. His parents sent him and his brother to California a few years ago to live with another family. His mom and sister came last year and his dad a little bit after.
He also mentioned that him and Dalen Terry are really tight. They both actually visited at the same time, back in November.
