I spoke with Nolan Matthews tonight, who is just getting over a ruptured thumb tendon injury from a football drilling it awkwardly at The Opening. If Utah was to really get in the thick of it for his services, it would end up being later in the process. To give you guys an idea of how small of a priority the position is in 2019, he's one of their top TE prospects--as mentioned in that article--but Guy Holliday only reaches out to him periodically. Still they need to be after some guys, because you never know what could change. Matthews said he would like to to take an official to Utah when the season begins, but a commitment for either Arizona State, Iowa State, or TCU will be coming some time in July.
