I just got off the phone with Australian native Luke Felix-Fualalo, who has spent the last year and change at Mater Dei High School, learning to play football. Although he has just one season's experience playing football, his size, athleticism, and intelligence make him a tantalizing OT prospect. Currently, Felix-Fualalo only has three offers, Utah, Colorado, and Oregon State, but he says he's all Utah right now.
Luke listed several reasons for why Utah is his favorite. For starters, they offer the degree he's interested in- computer science and electrical engineering- but mostly it sounds as if his relationship with Jim Harding is the biggest reason for his interest.
Felix-Fualalo said he's planning on taking an official visit to Utah during the season, once his mom can come out from Australia to see it with him. He plans on committing later in the season, after he's had a chance to take some visits.
