I just spoke with OL prospect Dohnovan West (6'4", 290), out of Bishop Alemany H.S. in Mission Hills, CA. West was here over the weekend checking out Salt Lake City unofficially. West enjoyed his visit to Salt Lake and was impressed by what Utah had to offer.
West said that Utah, Washington State, ASU, Boise State, and SJSU are recruiting him hardest right now. Aside from Utah, he's also taken unofficial visits to USC and Washington State, and will be going to ASU this week.
He also said that he knows that he wants to take official visits to Nebraska and Utah, and thinks he'll commit sometime during the season. He also is on track to graduate early, so he'll be signing in December.
