FYI - Late last night, a source that would know confirmed to me that Daveon Vigilant and Davir Hamilton committed.
HOWEVER, this morning our national analyst Adam Gorney told me that both Hamilton and Vigilant told him via text/twitter that they haven't committed. It's possible that they're committed but not ready to make it public yet. It's possible they had buyers remorse after sleeping on it. It's possible (albeit unlikely) that the whole thing was a big misunderstanding.
One interesting thing of note is that although both players are active on social media, neither has outright said that they are committed on any social media channel (Vigilant retweeted Fred Whittingham's "bat signal" tweet and Hamilton posted something cryptic with a bunch of pictures of Tevin Carter. Both of those happened last night).
I haven't been able to get in touch with either yet this morning. I'm trying to get to the bottom of this to hear what the real story is. Stay tuned.
