I'd be interested to hear other peoples take on the NFL anthem issue that is ongoing and if that has affected your viewing habits with the NFL product. I hate the platform they have decided to use to push their free speech rights, and I have chosen to eliminate most of my NFL viewing because of it. I love this country and choosing to protest something that has nothing to do with the anthem....just because they know it will cause uproar and emotion...is not right. That's my opinion.
ESPN had an article saying viewership is down around 8% this year and attributed it mostly to this reason.
