Hey all. This is a guy that we've known about for months, but have had to keep quiet about for a while. Schirmer is a JuCo player that would be a 2018 addition, and could potentially enter the mix right away at offensive tackle. He took his official visit to Utah this last weekend, and it is believed that the Utes are in the lead for him. Schirmer basically gave a verbal commitment to Utah back in February, but USC entered the picture late and muddled things up somewhat.
This could be a big late addition for this class and could add even more depth to the offensive line. We'll be keeping on eye on the situation.
