Now that the Utah coaching staff is complete, they've split up the territories for each of the assistants. Here's where each coach will focus:
OFFENSE
Aaron Roderick - Orange County, the southeast corner of LA County, and all quarterbacks, regardless of geographic location
Jim Harding - Northern California from Sacramento to Bakersfield (excluding the SF Bay Area)
Dennis Erickson - Inland Empire, Florida, and selected schools in greater LA area where he has relationships (such as Crenshaw, Long Beach Poly, etc.)
Taylor Stubblefield - North Los Angeles area (including Simi Valley, the San Fernando Valley, Valencia, etc.) and Louisiana
Lewis Powell - Hawaii, Samoa, and parts of California including the San Francisco bay area and Long Beach area
DEFENSE
John Pease - San Diego and surrounding areas (like Temecula, Murrieta, etc.), Pease will also take lead on top defensive prospects, regardless of location
Morgan Scalley - Northern Utah and the east side of the Salt Lake Valley, Texas (focusing on Houston and 2-3 schools in Dallas area)
Sharrieff Shah - Los Angeles
Justin Ena - Southern Utah and the west side of the Salt Lake Valley, Las Vegas, Arizona
Keep in mind that when it gets closer to signing day, that the area recruiting coach will work closely with the future position coach and the coordinator to help build relationships. But these areas are where you're going to see the most activity for each coach - especially in the early stages.
