I’m quite certain that I am a little late to the party, in that I had no idea minor-league football was coming to Utah. I was also unaware that games would be played at RES. The release I saw today says the season starts in February of next year. I also heard rumors that stadium renovation was starting after this season. Even if stadium renovation was not scheduled to take place after the football season this year presumably it will be at some point in the near future, and my question is how does that work with the new minor-league football?
Also, I have no delusion that minor-league football will fill RES but I wonder what impact if any minor-league football has on stadium expansion.
It would also be interesting to know what RES is charging in terms of rent for the use of RES, or maybe it doesn’t work that way?
