Wow. So disappointing. That was a mess and Mac deserved better, as did all the former players that were there. It looked like 5 minutes of planning went into that... I don't even know what to call it. How about giving Ronnie the mic for even a few minutes? I wanted to hear the man speak. How about mentioning the names of a few of the former players? Would have provided them with a great moment and I'm sure would have been enjoyable for the fans who watched them play throughout their careers. The saving grace of the whole fiasco happened accidentally when I believe it was Henry Lusk tried to sneak up and surprise McBride with a hug. Mac's response was priceless: huge smile, big hug, then a hug for Lusk's wife and daughter. Then McBride reached up and put his hand around Lusk's neck, pulled his head down, and kissed him on top of his bald head. That was awesome.
