I truly feel sorry for Jayce. He really tries so hard but he cannot catch easy passes, cannot jump, misses layup after layup, cannot shoot free throws and because his hands are so bad he fails to grab rebounds in any kind of tipped ball situation. Last night he knocked at least 3 easy rebounds out of bounds and Stanford got the ball.
In contrast I watched Kelly from Oregon State. They say he has only played 18 college games but he seems to get better every game. He is reasonably athletic but mostly he is coordinated so he can correct his mistakes. Seems to me he came through Utah looking for an opportunity to play and we passed on him due to being full at the 5 and his academic issues. Am I remembering that correctly?
