I didnt realize it until after we lost but this game is just not as important as it used to be. I wanted to win, badly. But after we lost I sat thinking about an the thought that kept popping in my mind was "I am sure glad that wasnt a conference game." I am annoyed that we played so poorly, I am concerned about our offensive line, I am nervous that our QB and WR corps might not be what we were lead to believe, I am super concerned about coaching. But the loss throws into focus, for me at least, the fact that our ultimate destination as a team is in no way affected by the results of the BYU game.
So, I wish we had won, but moving on from this loss has proven to be really easy.
