I am surprised this hasn't been been started yet. I hope I'm not breaking an unofficial forum rule by starting this, but now that BYU is the next game on the schedule, I'm ready to start the discussion.
What do you guys think happens, realistically? How does the offense match up against Kalani's defense? Will we stall Detmer's offense? Can we settle into the season and play disclipined enough to not give BYU extra chances with penalties and turnovers? How about a relatively young and somewhat unproven team going into Provo and the emotionally powerful Holy War? Does the talent gap show itself, and if so, how much?
I know BYU still has to play this weekend, but I'm ready for another Holy War edition to begin.
