  • Location: Prospera Place (Kelowna, British Columbia)
The 2025 Brier will be held at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia. The Brandt Centre hosted the event last year in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The field for the playoffs at this year’s Montana’s Brier will consist of the top three teams from each pool and the championship game on March 9th will determine which one will represent Canada when Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan hosts the 2025 World Men’s Curling Championship. The Worlds will run from March 29th through April 6th.

This year's tournament will feature 18 teams split into two pools of nine, and each team will play eight games. Pool play will run from Friday, Feb. 28, through Thursday, March 6, and the top three teams from each pool will advance to the playoffs.

The 2025 Montana's Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship, will be held from February 28 to March 9 at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia.[1][2] The winning team will represent Canada at the 2025 World Men's Curling Championship at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

A total of eighteen teams will qualify for the 2025 Brier. The fourteen Canadian curling member associations will hold playdowns to determine who will represent their province or territory. Team Canada is represented by Team Brad Gushue, who won the 2024 Montana's Brier.

In a slight change in the qualification format from 2024, the final three teams in the field pre-qualified for the 2025 Brier based on their 2023–24 Canadian Team Ranking Standings, which meant they bypassed the provincial qualifiers. These spots went to Teams Brad Jacobs, Mike McEwen and Matt Dunstone. This is different from the 2024 qualification where two teams pre-qualified for the event with the final spot going to the highest ranked team on the CTRS standings following the conclusion of the provincial championships.
