watching this tourney, as well as every other tourney the last 20 years it shows one thing......you only go as far as your guards take you.
I think we all got lulled into thinking this team was as good as last year's, they weren't. While Poeltl has definitely improved, they didn't have a Delon to "right" the ship when things weren't working. Utah needs strong guard play next year if they want to get back to the Sweet 16. I know this is a Captain Obvious statement but I really hope we see an upswing there next year.
By no means is this a knock on Taylor, but he did have his physical limitations which Delon did not.
