There’s a lot of depth with the older and younger guys. It’s nice to see the guys witness how things need to be done from an All-Pac-12 guy.

Lloyd is a great leader who pushes the whole team, not just the linebackers. He really pushes everyone. He’s valuable in the fact that he gives them experienced eyes and he’s a great coach and teacher on the field. He outworks everyone. He even outworks himself by exceeding his expectations.

Sewell really took to the position last year. He’s one of the most savvy players Swan has ever been around.

Josh Calvert’s transfer is beneficial because he also comes from a really good Washington defense.

Swan says it’s his responsibility to have his guys ready and he likes the depth and where they’re at.

It’s appealing to play linebacker at Utah because of the defensive line they consistently play behind.

Asked about the running backs, he said they’re really making the linebackers work from talk to bottom.

The Utah culture is what makes Utah good. The willingness to be great and outwork everyone.

Trey Reynolds is a gritty and tough football player. He has a work ethic like Devin Lloyd. He’s really made a name for himself in his seven months on campus.
