Promised my 11yr old daughter we would catch a game this year. She picked the Oct 1 date with Cal. We live in Houston now so I was secretly hoping Booker would get picked up by the Texans so we could substitute a much shorter trip
. Anyways - this board is always great about advice...
1) Anyone's crystal ball working to know kickoff time yet? I'm thinking 1pm pacific kick would be the earliest? Just trying to figure out if we can sneak out early Sat morn or if we need to fly in Friday night.
2) Best way to ensure we are sitting with fellow Utes? Happy to buy tix from someone on the board, stub hub, the U, whatever. We would prefer to not sit amongst Cal fans (do they have fans?)
3) Suggestions for places to stay, eat, getting to the stadium, etc. Where does the team or Alumni stay?
4) Any must do/see things in the area for the weekend?
5) Does Utah do a tailgating event there? Caught a great one in Ann Arbor but couldn't find anything at Notre Dame (admittedly showed up pretty late).
