This spring it has been evident that Manning will transfer, Isom will switch to defensive, and Cox doesn't have the arm or durability to be counted on as a backup. That leaves Chase Hansen as our only QB next year. At this point the best situation is for Thompson to beat out Wilson, start the entire year so Wilson can redshirt and play next year while we've hopefully acquired more QBs. Hansen is a good kid but he's not accurate enough to start, especially with nobody behind him.
