-Bernard said, the team has done a great job improving the spring, and they look good as a whole going into the fall.

-The younger RBs have made great improvements. The mistakes that they’re making now are minor mistakes but they need to be ready for the fall because that’s when it gets a whole lot tougher.

-It’s crazy to see defensive guys leave and others step in and fill the role with nothing changing. The defense is looking really good right now. He went on to say that this spring is the best that he remembers the secondary looking. That’s gigantic praise right there.

-For the spring game, Bernard is just looking forward to going out and having fun.

-What Bernard gained the most from sitting out this last year is his knowledge of the playbook. He said he already knew it inside and out, but the time he spent sidelined helped him understand it in a different way, where he can teach and explain it to the younger guys.

-The team is in a great spot leadership wise, but the guy first and foremost that they listen to, hasn’t changed with Cam Rising, who does a phenomenal job.
