Will your school expand and how soon and by how much?

Stadium expansion is on the definite horizon. As for a timeline that has not yet been determined. The plan is add around 15K seats and bring us up to just over 60K capacity.

Looking at Utah's recent attendance the last few years, I think the stadium could easily be expanded to minimum 70k and fill up. If not with all Ute fans then with fans from the opposing teams. Sell Salt Lake getaway packages to the opposing teams to boost tourism and the local economy. Marketing, marketing, marketing........

Too bad the football season doesn't overlap with ski season. I'd be willing to bet a lot of PAC-10 fans would love to visit here in the wintertime for the world class skiing and powder (7 resorts within 45 min. drive of SLC airport). Even Colorado can't offer that given that most good resorts there are 2.5-4 hour drives from Denver.

I guess some of you will have to become basketball fans and come up here doing B-ball season.

Maybe we need to re-visit the notion of a wintertime bowl game in SLC.

The chances of us losing that game is somewhere between slim and none.
