Here is a different measurement to see how our class stacked up this year, by number of P5 offers our signees had (other than their offer from Utah). I feel like this is a good way to judge how desirable our class was to outside programs.

Note: I counted Moala, Lewis and Tafua since we will be the first D1 school they play at. I did not count Lund as a transfer.

I also just went by the Rivals lists, without trying to sort out which offers were committable or taken off the table, etc.

TOTAL P5 OFFERS : 128
Schools: UA, CU, Wazzu (9); Vandy, OSU (7); ASU (6); UCLA, Cal, UO (5); USC, Mich St, Illinois, ISU (4); UW, Georgia, Tennessee, Wiscy, WVU, Virginia, Kansas (3); Missou, Ark, LSU, Nebraska (2); Stan, Duke, UK, Ole Miss, PSU, Miss St, TTU, GT, Miami, Louisville, OU, Syracuse, TAMU, NCST, Purdue, Bama, BC, Indiana, Maryland, KSU, TCU (1)

OFFERS FROM 2017 TOP 25 TEAMS: 35
Schools: Boise (5); USC, Mich St (4); UW, Georgia, Wiscy (3); LSU, Memphis (2); Stanford, PSU, Miss St, Miami, OU, Bama, TCU, UCF, NCST (1)

For fun... OFFERS FROM BYU: 8
Pututau, Moala, Maile, Mataele, Kump, Fotu, Tafua, Fanaika

AVERAGE P5 OFFERS PER RECRUIT: 5.57

Haven’t really compared it to previous classes, but these seem like very good numbers for us. If you include the Utah offers obviously it adds another 23 offers to the list and the average goes up.

If anyone happens to have a Cougarboard account and is looking for smack...

TOTAL P5 OFFERS (BYU): 16
Schools: Utah, OSU (3); Minnesota, Zona (2); Cal, Iowa, Syracuse, ASU, ISU, OKST (1)

Of the Utes 3 offers, I think Romney is the only one Utah would have taken, but I still included all 3 to be fair.

TOTAL TOP 25 OFFERS (BYU): 3
Schools: Boise (2); OKST (1)

AVERAGE P5 OFFERS PER RECRUIT: 0.76
