That turned into an interesting day. A few things...
-I would expect a good amount of signees to eventually get rating bumps.
-Peyton Powell, wow. I’m hearing the team caught wind of the potential of this on an early morning call with him.
-Jaylan Ford, we’ll see. It sounds like Texas offered him and might have offered Money Parks at the last minute too. I know Utah is trying to get Ford to sign now, but at the moment it looks like he’ll wait.
-John Gentry is someone you all might hear from again, but he won’t be signing now or in December.
-The Utes did a helluva job keeping the in-state kids home.
-Their confidence is still high on getting Clark Phillips. Just keep in mind though, they fully expected Powell last night too.
-Kenzel Lawler will be signing on Friday.
-No new names will pop up for the December signing period.
I’d like to thank all my guys for the work they put in. They worked their tails off. Sorry I wasn’t on the radio like normal today. I have no true desire regardless, to be on a station that didn’t take my back like they should have, near the start of the season. There’s a lot of guys on that station that I appreciate though, especially PK and his shoutouts to me.
