-First day in full pads and live work.

-Isaac Wilson has assimilated to P5 football really well. He doesn’t get overwhelmed by the complexity of the game or the speed of the offense. He’s taking quality reps with him and Brandon Rose splitting the No. 2 reps.

-Wilson is putting in the time, he’s a smart kid and he’s in the film room constantly. They have no doubt that he’ll have complete command of the offense by the end of spring ball.

-Rising is shaking off the rust and getting his arm strength back. He’s their leader and it’s a whole diff feel with him out there.

-Dorian Singer hasn’t practiced yet, he’s been dealing with a minor lower leg injury. He looked really good in winter conditioning and they’re hopeful to get him back out next week.

-With replacing the safeties, there’s four that they really like: Nate Ritchie and Johnathan Hall look really good, they’re excited about what Gilman from Stanford is bringing, and Tao Johnson has a real opportunity to be special. Tao has made the transition from corner to safety seamlessly.

-Half the tight ends are in the training room right now, but fortunately Brant Kuithe isn’t one of them.

-Landen King still needs to add about 10 pounds to make his TE transition complete. He’s a great receiver and once he gains that weight, they expect him to be a great blocker, as well.

-Dallin Bentley is really starting to emerge after being injured for most of his first season at Utah.
