I keep reading posts talking about how it will be difficult to recruit players to Corvallis, Oregon in as much as they seem to be going hard after our recruits. I've never been there. My image of most of Western Oregon is that it's very green and quite pretty. When I look at pics on line, I see mountains, trees etc not flat land with no trees and lots of ugly sage brush. Am I only seeing the "favorable pics" and not getting a good feel for what the town is like?
It has about 56,000 people and seems to be a college town. Some people think that's way too small. Others might like a "Logan type" small college town environment.
For those that know it well, what are the SPECIFIC THINGS that make Corvallis an unattractive location to which to recruit players? I'm not disputing that it's not an attractive town/city. I just don't know squat about the place. Enlighten me if you can.
