Tonight Utah basketball takes on #18 BYU at the Hunstman Center. Utah hoops are 5-0 and are fresh off of winning a Sunshine Slam Title. The game will be a showdown of two undefeated teams as BYU enters the game 5-0 as well. Today Joe Lunardi tweeted that Utah is in the "Considered" category of teams for the NCAA Tournament at this early juncture in the season which is much more than what many Utah fans expected for the Runnin' Utes this year. BYU is a team that Lunardi currently has in the tournament, so it would be a big win for Utah's new core of players and coaches.
I am really excited about what Coach Smith has brought to this point and tonight would be a good early season chance to make a statement. That being said, Are you taking Utah basketball seriously at this point in the year, or do they have to prove more to you before you start getting excited? And what do you see as the keys to tonight's game?
