Too many, mostly zoobs, believe the Y must have hired Saban or Urban. Kalani is a great guy and a good coach but I don't believe he's a game changer. Sure he might get a few more big Poly players to go to the Y but that is not their problem, they have always gotten their share of them. The HC is still in play down there.
One thing to keep in mind I believe with this hire the Holy War becomes a lot more civil and I don't know of many Y fans that honestly want that. I try to tell them that KS was no where near their top co=hoice, although some try to debate that fact. Here's how I saw it, in order.
1. Andy Reid, always a pipe dream not leaving the NFL.
2. Whitt, tried to play on Holmes friendship with him but he wasn't leaving Utah.
3. Bevell, told them he's an NFL lifer.
4. Lance Anderson, too many restrictions put on his staff selection, declined.
5. Navy guy.has a great gig where he is.
