There are a few people over the years who were clearly members of Ute Nation, but whose actions might have resulted in them no longer being members of Ute Nation. Who would you put on this list?
Lynn Archibald (RIP) - Utah head basketball coach who was fired and ended up as an assistant at BYU. IMO, probably not eliminated from Ute Nation. Coaches who are fired are entitled to make a living, even if it is at BYU.
Jeff Judkins - former Utah basketball great and Utah assistant basketball coach who was demoted and ended up as the BYU women's basketball coach. Juddy has been at BYU so long and women's basketball is not a visible position to many that it is hard to even remember that he was a Ute. My guess is that Utah fans would welcome him back into the fold.
Urban Meyer - former Ute head football coach who made some sort of comments about staying at Utah while it was clear that he was headed out the door. Has continued to have nice things to say about the U over the years while at Florida and Ohio St. Rumored to have sold soul to Devil. Ute fans would welcome back although that may change if he continues to heavily recruit the State of Utah. I mean, Ohio St. can pretty much get anyone they want. Why do they need a 3* OL from Corner Canyon.
Gary Andersen - former Ute player and assistant football coach. I don't think anyone begrudged his move to USU and Wisconsin and his recruiting players from Utah for those schools. Oregon St. is now a direct competitor of the Utes and Gary and his staff are targeting players from the State of Utah and having some success. Andersen is easy to like and I suspect that if KW leaves many would want Gary to be the next HC. In the meantime, I think most of us would like to see Utah football give him the Joe Glen treatment: 50 - 0 and on-side kick.
Chad Kahaha - former Ute player and assistant football coach who left Utah to follow Andersen to Wisconsin and not at Oregon St. Not a very likeable guy. Some would characterize him as a sleezeball. I wouldn't want him back at Utah because he did less with more talent on the DL then any coach.
Kalani Sitake - former BYU player and Ute assistant. Seems to have angered many Ute fans by appearing to say one thing on the radio about encouraging committed Utah players to keep their commitments and then recruiting them to Oregon St. Recruiting kids who you recruited while at Utah seems like fair game to me. Recruiting kids who are committed to your former school, seems a little questionable, but I understand it. I don't think he would be getting the bad rap if he had not made the comments on the radio. I would welcome Kalani back in a heartbeat. I may feel differently in a few years, but I don't begrudge him doing his best for his current school even if it comes at the expense of my school.

Any other candidates?
