I heard Gunther and Sir Thomas talking about Kyle's new contract and they said there is a retirement clause in it that would give him some $3,500,000 if he retires as a Ute. Unless I missed it (very possible) I don't remember seeing anything about that posted previously. First of all, I love it. I'd love to see Whit eventually retire here. Also, what a plus in recruiting! He's already the longest tenured head coach in the PAC and then to be able to tell recruits that, in addition to that fact, he has that clause in his contract? Huge in my opinion! Recruits (and their parents) want some reassurance that the HC is going to be around a while. No guarantees of course, but this has to provide a warm and fuzzy feeling. It does for me!
