Hey guys- here is the week 4 press release for spring ball. ***One thing to note for anyone interested in going to practice tomorrow the location has since changed. The boys will now be practicing at the facility from 3-5 instead of RES. Practice for Tuesday is still open to the public despite the location change. CAMP WEEK 4
The Utes are down to their last two weeks of spring football camp and practices this week are scheduled for Tuesday (3-5 p.m.) and Thursday (3-5 p.m.), with a scrimmage on Saturday (10 a.m.-noon). All outdoor practices and scrimmages in the spring are open to the public.
WEEK 4 SCHEDULE
Tuesday Tackle 3:00-5:00 (Rice-Eccles Stadium)
Thursday No Tackle 3:00-5:00 (TBD)
Saturday Scrimmage 10:00-12:00 (Rice-Eccles Stadium)

With Kendal Thompson unavailable for most drills, redshirt freshmanChase Hansen is getting the majority of the reps behind starting quarterbackTravis Wilson Senior Bubba Poole, who led Utah in rushing as a sophomore in 2013, has been the No. 1 slot back this spring and is now considered a wide receiver/running back Standouts last week included linebackerSunia Tauteoli, who had three tackles for loss and a blocked field goal in the first scrimmage of the spring LinebackerGionni Paul (foot) will resume taking limited reps on Tuesday Receiver Tim Patrick will take the field for some non-contact drills this week-his first time participating since breaking his leg last fall against Oregon Injured last week and likely out for the remainder of spring ball are offensive guardLo Falemaka (knee) and defensive tackle Viliseni Fauonuku (ankle) Replacing the injured Fauonuku in this week's two deep is a local sophomore walk-on,Beaver Ho Ching (Draper, Utah/Alta HS) In addition to Falemaka and Fauonuku, other scholarship players who are out for the remainder of spring camp with injuries are offensive linemanSalesi Uhatafe, running backs Troy McCormick and Dre'Vian Young, defensive tackleVaha Vainuku and cornerback Ahmad Christian.
