(#11) Utah at UCLA
Pauley Pavilion - Los Angeles, Ca
8:00 pm MST
Line: Utah -5
TV: ESPN 2, ESPN3.com Radio: ESPN 700
The Utes are on the first game of their southern California road swing tongiht as they face the UCLA Bruins in Pauley Pavilion. We all remember how this game went when these two teams last met up in SLC. Bryce Alford was held scoreless on 0-10 shooting but UCLA still got a good contribution from Tony Parker (before he fouled out) 12 points and 8 rebounds. Parker has been limited recently due to some back spasms. He is still questionable for tonight's game and that would be a tough blow for the Bruins. They still have the services of Norman Powell (8points, 3 rebounds and Kevin Looney (8 points, 6 rebounds) who played well in SLC.
Utes haven't won in Pauley since 1961 and they are just 3-3 on the road this season. Even if it is a down year for UCLA, a win on their floor would be a big deal for the Utah program. This will be a good test but on paper, nothing has changed since their matchup in SLC except for the location AND Tony Parkers health. This leads me to believe the Utes win and win big. I would put my money on Utah covering that spread.
Let get this party started folks. Post any thoughts, questions and opinions in this thread and we will keep the conversation going.
