In talking with multiple people close to the situation, here's some more that I've gathered. No commitment is looming with Jackson cancelling his Maryland visit. Look for him to narrow things down really soon, with Utah extremely likely to make the cut -- possibly BYU, too. Academics -- although he could eventually be an NBA early entrant -- is very important to the family. Also important in the school he chooses, is the level of competition. Utah is sitting nicely at this point in time. As I've mentioned in the past, his crew likes to keep things pretty quiet, but I'll fill you guys in, the more I hear from my sources.
