Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) is the reigning IBF, WBC and WBO titleholder. The 39-year-old power puncher has defeated some of the best fighters in the division including Tavoris Cloud, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Marcus Browne, Joe Smith Jr., Anthony Yarde and Callum Smith.

"[Bivol] is a good boxer," Beterbiev told Dev Sahni on the Queensberry Boxing Show. "If he wasn't a good boxer, he wouldn't hold the title. He has many things good… we'll see. I try to be ready for my opponents."

The 33-year-old Bivol (23-0, 12 KOs) is the long-reigning WBA titleholder. After winning the regular version in 2017, he would soon be upgraded to full champion and has notched up 12 victories in title fights. His Rosetta Stone moment was a May 2022 triumph over then-pound-for-pound No. 1 Canelo Alvarez.
