So... Vickers tweeted that he's taking a medical redshirt, but that doesn't mean anything. He can't apply for one until he finishes his eligibility, plus I'm told he hasn't been the best communicator with the program. Therefore, we'll see, but don't take his tweet as positive proof. Apparently at one point something happened to his knee, hence why he's mentioning a medical redshirt.
