I just want to tell all the local high school kids that decide to stay in state and play for the Utes....THANK YOU!
I have been a season ticket holder since 1997 and don't really care where a kid comes from once they put on the Utah uniform.
However, it brings me great joy to watch one of our (Utah) homegrown kids take it to an arrogant California team. It also makes me sad to see a homegrown kid play for a California school and try to beat the fans that loved and cheered for them while growing up.
I guess what I am really trying to say is THANK YOU to all the local kids that choose to play for US (the University of Utah Fans) and the great state of Utah!
