On the ESPN Championship Drive podcast, the hosts were asked to pick which of the following undefeated teams (that most people did not expect to be unbeaten at this point) had the most "staying power":
TAMU, Wisconsin, Washington, Nebraska and Utah.
Ivan Maisel picked [drum roll] ...Utah!
He likes that UW and Oregon have to come to SLC, that the Utes came back on USC, will always play good defense and will always be tough. He says our margin of error is a little slimmer due to being not quite as deep as other "top echelon" teams. Could be a good year for the Utes.
Chris Low also went with the Utes for many of the same reasons. Also praised Whitt for putting together good offensive and defensive lines and for winning close games. Likes our discipline. Said Utah was 15-6 in last 21 games decided by 7 or fewer points.
Other nice things were said. Give it a listen!

Ps: I decided "stamina" was both more concise and more topical than "staying power."
