One problem that reared its ugly head last Thursday was our inability to convert on that 4 and 1 at midfield. This seems like it's been a problem for multiple seasons in that we seem to get routinely stuffed at the the LOS and can't move the pile to get a yard. It's one thing to fail against USC or Washington, but we shouldn't have had that problem against Weber State.
Does anyone have thoughts on what the problem is? Are we being too predictable/conservative with our playcalling? Is it the scheme? I have a hard time believing that its just our OL failing to man up and push the pile. But it's something that drives me crazy with a team that is widely considered so physical and aggressive on the line.
