Hey guys, I just got off the phone with class of 2019 point guard Rylan Jones, who committed to Utah last week. Rylan is excited to be a Ute and is an excellent addition to the 2019 class. Here's a preview of what he had to say:
Rylan wanted to stay in his hometown and state, and said his relationship with Coach K and the rest of the staff was a big part in his decision to commit to Utah. He considers himself to be a solid PG who can do what needs to be done, pass when he needs to pass, shoot when he needs to shoot, and brings a winning mentality.
Rylan already feels as if he's part of the Utah basketball family and says he enjoys the chances he gets to shoot around at the gym with the current players and get some pointers from them. He says in the time before he joins to team, he wants to work hard to improve every aspect of his game so he can arrive on campus ready to contribute right away.
