We've been over this a hundred times and it's still not clear. Would someone who REALLY knows explain this. I was always under the impression that when Harvey Langi or Empey or any other returned missionary left to fulfill their destiny at BYU that their LOI had lapsed and they were free to go. Now this Tribune article about Joe Tukuafu says that USU must release him if he wants to play this season. Did Utah release Empey and Langi and all the other missionaries who suddenly, with no influence from anyone BYU related, decided that Provo was the place to be?
